Ergonomic Vertical Mouse for Creative Professionals
Designed for creative professionals, this vertical mouse maintains a comfortable ergonomic resting posture while making frequently used software adjustments easier to access directly from the mouse.
Its key feature, the Precision Rail, is a spring-loaded thumb-controlled slider positioned within natural thumb reach. It can be mapped to continuous software parameters such as brush size, fillet radius, opacity, extrusion height or zoom. For example, while using a Fillet command in 3D software, the user can push the rail forward to gradually increase the fillet radius and pull it backward to reduce it. The change appears on the model in real time, so the user can stop at the required value without repeatedly typing numbers, clicking through menus or shifting the hand away from the mouse. When released, the rail returns to its neutral position, ready for the next adjustment.
The project focused on ergonomics, form development, control placement, CAD and CMF to make prolonged creative workflows more comfortable and efficient.
